Cube’s Superlite aluminum starts with heat-treated 6061 aluminum, because it possesses the essential qualities (high fatigue resistance, good stiffness, low weight, and excellent strength) of a bicycle frame. In a second step, we transform the material into double-butted tubes to reduce weight without sacrificing even a bit of strength. The result? Exceptionally light, strong, and durable frames.
