Escapa presents the Giant Reign Advanced 1 2025.
With a carbon frame developed with Giant's enduro racing professionals, the Giant Reign Advanced 1 25 bikeoffers 160 mm of rear travel with Maestro technology that allows you to tackle any challenge the mountain throws at you. Its adjustable geometry and the option of a 29" or 27.5" rear wheel make it adaptable to all situations.
Key performance factors:
Suspension born in competition
The Maestro rear suspension system with 160mm of travel, accompanied by a 170mm fork, has been developed and tested in the extreme conditions of the Enduro World Series races.
Adjustable enduro geometry
Flip chip technology allows you to switch between 3 settings depending on the terrain. You can choose a head angle of 63.5, 63.9, or 64.2 degrees and the corresponding seat tube angle of 78.3, 78.7, or 79 degrees, resulting in a bottom bracket height of 35, 30, or 25mm.
Rear wheel options
Riders can opt for the standard 29-inch rear wheel or switch to a 27.5-inch wheel. The larger 29-inch wheel improves stability and the ability to roll over obstacles, while the 27.5-inch wheel provides more agile and playful handling.
Technologies:
ADVANCED FORGED CARBON TECHNOLOGY
An innovative high-pressure molding process used to produce complex-shaped carbon fiber components that are lighter, stiffer, and stronger than similar aluminum components. This technology is used in critical high-performance parts such as the Maestro suspension link.
ALUXX SL ALUMINUM TECHNOLOGY
This innovative aluminum material for high-performance frames is primarily composed of a 6011 alloy that offers a class-leading strength-to-weight ratio. The frames also feature unique welding techniques for high-performance ride quality.
MAESTRO SUSPENSION TECHNOLOGY
Four strategically positioned pivot points and two joints work together to create a single virtual pivot, resulting in the most active, efficient, and independent suspension system you'll find on the trails.
OVERDRIVE
Giant's original oversized head tube technology features large 1-1/4" lower and 1-1/8" upper bearings for road bikes, and 1-1/2" lower and 1-1/8" upper bearings for mountain bikes. The tapered head tube provides greater control and steering stiffness.
Tubeless SYSTEM
Fewer punctures, more road grip. Minimal resistance for a more precise, faster ride. Giant's Tubeless system makes all these advantages more affordable than ever.
FLIP CHIP - MAESTRO
The Flip Chip allows cyclists to quickly adjust the geometry of their Maestro suspension-equipped mountain bike to better suit the way and place they ride. This allows cyclists to change the head/seat angles and bottom bracket height using an eccentric piece (offset, 2 positions) located on the upper swingarm.
