Escapa presents the Giant Revolt 1 25 Bike, a versatile model that can handle any situation. Ride on roads, Gravel, or trails with this versatile aluminum bike. Its carbon fork provides a smooth ride, and the flip chip allows you to adjust the wheelbase and rear wheel clearance.

Roads, tracks, dirt trails—this versatile aluminum bike can handle it all. Its carbon fork allows for lively and precise handling. The Flip Chip technology integrated into the rear stays allows you to adjust the wheelbase and modulate the wheelbase if you want to ride with large-volume tires.

Maneuverability and stability.

The frame offers a Gran Fondo-style position. Its chainstays have been shortened to make it even more agile and responsive. The updated geometry, short stem, and low bottom bracket give you even more stability on demanding terrain.

Optimized comfort

This frame features thinner seat stays that help absorb vibrations. D-Fuse technology in the handlebars and seat post helps minimize shocks and vibrations without sacrificing stiffness during acceleration, descents, and climbs.

Adaptable to the terrain

A flip chip on the rear dropout adjusts the wheelbase to the short position for quick handling, or to the long position for greater stability at high speeds. The long configuration allows you to fit tires up to 53mm in diameter. You can also choose the included D-Fuse seatpost for maximum flexibility, or switch to a standard 30.9mm round or dropper seatpost.

Flip Chip rear dropout

A quick and easy adjustment on the new Revolt allows you to tailor the bike to your riding style. A two-position flip chip located on the rear dropout changes the wheelbase, along with rear tire clearance, so you can get the best performance from the bike depending on the Terreno and your riding style.

You'll find a flip chip on each side of the derailleur hanger that can be set to a long or short position. The integrated system consists of an off-center eccentric piece that can be easily loosened, removed, and flipped to the long or short setting with a 5mm hex key.

Short position: When the flip chip is in the short position, the wheelbase is shorter (1026mm on an M frame). In this position, you have tire clearance of up to 42mm.

Long position: When the flip chip is in the long position, the wheelbase is extended by 1 mm (1036 mm on an M frame) and you get rear tire clearance for wider diameters, up to 53 mm.

How does this change the riding experience?

Short position: A shorter wheelbase results in a faster, more agile ride. This is a great option when riding on mixed terrain that combines paved roads with Gravel and soft, fast dirt. The responsive feel, combined with smaller diameter (and lighter weight) tires, makes it a smart choice when speed, efficiency, and quick handling are most important.

Long position: The long position extends the wheelbase, adding stability when the Gravel and dirt are rougher. And with increased rear tire clearance (up to 53mm), it allows you to choose high-volume tires for greater traction and control. The long stance is an excellent choice for rides and routes that include fast, loose descents or more technical off-road climbs.
