The Specialized Diverge Expert Carbon 25 Bike is designed with the perfect combination of SRAM Rival, GX, and NX components for fast and efficient shifting with an 11-50 cassette to ensure you have the gearing to tackle any ride. The bike rides on Roval Terra C wheels with 42mm Pathfinder Pro tires. Adventure Gear alloy handlebars, a Roval Terra carbon seatpost, and a Power Expert saddle complete the package.
The more capable your bike is, the bigger your rides will be, which is why Diverge borrows internal SWAT storage from the legendary Stumpjumper. The SWAT compartment allows you to use the space in the down tube to store tools, a repair kit, nutrition, and even a jacket. It keeps weight away from your body and low on the bike for better handling and makes you more self-sufficient.
We've moved away from the status quo of Gravel geometry. The new Diverge has the most progressive geometry we've ever created, giving riders a capable and stable bike on the dirt that still feels responsive and agile on the road. We've increased the frame's reach, introduced a more relaxed head tube, and a fork with greater offset. All of this creates incredible confidence with a stable feel on the dirt, while shorter stem specs keep overall handlebar length the same and steering nimble. We kept the bike's bottom bracket low for added stability, but high enough to run 650b wheels if that's your thing.
Speed, control, and confidence: Future Shock 2.0 is the most advanced technology for the Gravel rider. With 20mm of axial flex and a hydraulic damper, Future Shock 2.0 suspends the rider, not the bike. This allows you to trust and maintain control, and lets you keep the power low and not brake on rough dirt roads and loose, dense gravel, while keeping your hands, arms, and neck fresh. Because the Future Shock 2.0 damper is adjustable, you'll be ready for rough surfaces and efficient on smooth pavement.
We've provided the Diverge with a wealth of rack mounts, including fork and top tube mounts, to ensure you can carry what you need, no matter how far you plan to go or how long you plan to stay out.
Nothing unlocks a bike's capabilities like tire clearance, so we gave the new Diverge massive 47mm tire clearance with a 700c wheel and 2.1" with a 650b wheel. Thanks to a drive-side chainstay that utilizes a solid carbon beam behind the chainrings, we've created clearance without using a fragile dropped chainstay design or increasing chainstay length.
