Completely redesigned from scratch, the new Giant Glory Advanced 25 Bikepresented by Escapa features a super-strong and lightweight full carbon frame, 200 mm Maestro rear suspension (with a 203 mm fork), and multiple chips to modify the geometry, rear wheel size, adjustment, and positioning. It originally comes with a mixed wheel configuration (Mullet) with a 29-inch front wheel and a 27.5-inch rear wheel, achieving a perfect balance between speed and maneuverability. Cyclists also have the option of switching to a 29-inch rear wheel using a simple two-position chip on the rear dropout.
Key performance factors:
Suspension designed for competition
A new Maestro rear suspension with 200 mm of travel, developed over several years with our World Cup athletes and engineers. Paired with a 203 mm fork, it ensures greater confidence and comfort on the most difficult DH terrain.
Hyper-adjustable
Three Flip Chips ensure an unprecedented level of adjustability. First, the 3-position Flip Chip allows riders to adjust the frame geometry to their style and the terrain. Second, a new Flip Chip on the head tube allows you to adjust the reach so you can find your preferred position. Finally, a Flip Chip on the rear dropout allows you to modify the length of the chainstays.
Rear wheel options
Riders can choose between a 29-inch or 27.5-inch rear wheel. All models come factory-equipped with a "mullet" configuration, which many riders, including the pros on the Giant Factory Off-Road Team, often choose. Riding with the smaller diameter rear wheel creates an agile and fast feel, as well as a greater distance between the saddle and the rear tire. For those who prefer the speed and stability of 29-inch wheels front and rear.
Technologies:
FLIP CHIP - MAESTRO 3
This all-new technology allows riders to quickly adjust the geometry and choose a rear wheel size (29-inch or 27.5-inch) to suit their riding style and terrain. It is available on select Maestro-equipped mountain bikes. The adjustment affects the head tube and seat tube angles, bottom bracket height, and rear wheel size via an eccentric flip chip located on the upper rocker arm of the rear suspension.
MAESTRO SUSPENSION TECHNOLOGY
Four strategically positioned pivot points and two joints work together to create a single virtual pivot, resulting in the most active, efficient, and independent suspension system you'll find on the trails.
ADVANCED T-700 CARBON TECHNOLOGY
High-performance T-700 raw carbon fiber is used to produce a custom carbon material with a high stiffness-to-weight ratio at Giant's own factory. The front triangle of these frames is assembled and molded as a single continuous piece using a patented manufacturing technique called Modified Monocoque Construction.
ADVANCED FORGED CARBON TECHNOLOGY
An innovative high-pressure molding process used to produce complex-shaped carbon fiber components that are lighter, stiffer, and stronger than similar aluminum components. This technology is used in critical high-performance parts such as the Maestro suspension swinglink.
Tubeless SYSTEM
Fewer punctures, more road grip. Minimal resistance for a more precise, faster ride. Giant's Tubeless system makes all these advantages more affordable than ever.
