Integrated aerodynamics

The AeroSystem Shaping of the frame is the result of CFD analysis and dynamic testing in the wind tunnel. It optimizes aerodynamic performance at all angles of attack. The truncated ellipse shape of the airfoil tubes and the new Contact SL Aero cockpit produce superior aero performance.

Easier to adjust

New cable routing through the stem and head tube makes cockpit adjustment or replacement quicker and easier, as well as fine-tuning the riding position.

Race-winning efficiency

The Advanced SL composite frame features pro-level composite materials and manufacturing processes. The result is a weight saving of 150 grams compared to the previous generation and an even better stiffness-to-weight ratio.

ADVANCED T-700 CARBON TECHNOLOGY

High-performance T-700 raw carbon fiber is used to produce a custom carbon material with a high stiffness-to-weight ratio at Giant's own factory. The front triangle of these frames is assembled and molded as a single continuous piece using a patented manufacturing technique called Modified Monocoque Construction.

AEROSYSTEM FORMING TECHNOLOGY

Using CFD (computational fluid dynamics) and wind tunnel data, engineers optimize the shape of each tube for superior aerodynamic performance.

OVERDRIVE AERO

Located inside the head tube of the new Propel range, the D-shaped fork steerer tube and corresponding spacers provide an extremely aerodynamic and easier-to-maintain system of integrated brake and derailleur cables.
