The Fully Integrated Battery system hides the power of the Bosch battery so it’s protected within the confines of the bike’s down tube. Hidden under a cover that protects against dust and splashes, and lockable to prevent theft, it allows us to design e-bike frames that are as beautiful as they are functional.

Our integrated seatpost clamp is part of our quest to find the best details so you can reap the rewards of our choices. Its minimalist design complements the frame’s aesthetic simplicity. Integrated Carrier 3.0

Boost 148

A wider hub increases wheel stiffness, and a stiffer wheel means better handling. That’s the thinking behind the Boost 148 rear hub standard, which allows for greater spacing between the flanges for better wheel performance without affecting shifting precision or drivetrain efficiency. Simply put, you’ll be able to go faster and ride harder while enjoying better handling and stronger wheels.

Internal Cable Routing

Cables connect the handlebar controls to vital components like shifters and brakes, but they don’t have to get in your way to do so. With internal cable routing, we’ve reduced clutter and maintenance, because the cables run inside the frame to keep them away from dust and water, protect them from abrasion damage, and create a more visually appealing bike.

Universal Derailleur Hanger

One standard for all: replacing the derailleur hanger is easy thanks to the innovative universal derailleur hanger. With a design that includes some wiggle room to help prevent the chain from getting stuck, it improves shifting performance and works with all drivetrains. Best of all, it’s a standard part that’s available everywhere.

Gravity Casting

Gravity casting shapes liquid aluminum into highly complex frame sections, creating extremely strong structures better able to withstand stress. For example, with our hybrid models, we can produce a motor mount optimized to handle the loads it must bear in this specific application, without adding unnecessary weight or sacrificing strength.

Superlite Aluminum

Cube’s Superlite aluminum starts with heat-treated 6061 aluminum, because it possesses the essential qualities (high fatigue resistance, good stiffness, low weight, and excellent strength) required for a bicycle frame. In a second step, we transform the material into double-butted tubes to reduce weight without sacrificing even a bit of strength. The result? Exceptionally light, strong, and durable frames.
