Gravity Casting
Gravity casting shapes liquid aluminum into highly complex frame sections, creating extremely strong structures better able to withstand stress. For example, with our hybrid models, we can produce a motor mount optimized to handle the loads it must bear in this specific application, without adding unnecessary weight or sacrificing strength.
SuperLite Aluminum
Cube’s SuperLite aluminum is based on heat-treated 6061 aluminum, because it possesses the qualities—high fatigue resistance, good stiffness, low weight, and excellent strength—that are essential for a bicycle frame. In a second step, we transform the material into double-butted tubes to reduce weight without sacrificing even a little bit of strength. The result? Exceptionally light, strong, and durable frames.
