ALUMINUM
Cube’s Superlite aluminum starts with heat-treated 6061 aluminum, because it possesses the essential qualities (high fatigue resistance, good stiffness, low weight, and excellent durability) required for a bicycle frame. In a second step, we transform the material into double-butted tubes to reduce weight without sacrificing even a bit of strength. The result? Exceptionally light, strong, and durable frames.
FRAME
A bicycle frame is an extraordinary feat of engineering. And now, with our smooth-weld technology, we’re able to give it the elegance it deserves. With no visible weld beads, the tubes appear to flow seamlessly into one another.
