This versatile carbon road wheel is ideal for cyclists looking for the perfect balance between weight, aerodynamics, and efficiency. New spokes and hubs give the Mavic Cosmic SL 45 Disc CL 700 Front Wheel a light and lively feel for climbing and accelerating.
The rim is designed with a 45mm deep and 26mm wide NACA rim profile, specifically designed for more complete performance on flat or mountainous terrain. The new shape of the rim base makes it easier than ever to install tubeless and tube tires. Mounting UST Tubeless means no tube, so no friction, and more air volume means a smoother ride. The result is faster riding with very low rolling resistance. Refined spokes make this wheelset 80 g lighter than its predecessor, the Cosmic Pro Carbon UST Disc. Combined with our new Infinity hub platform, which makes the wheels feel fast and responsive in every corner, they are stiffer and more efficient.
The Cosmic SL 45 wheel is designed specifically for disc brakes, with an optimized number of spokes and lacing. They are offered only in Center Lock and are compatible with 12 mm thru-axles and can be converted to quick release with the included adapters.
These wheels are designed, manufactured, and patented by Mavic in Annecy, France, and are 100% handmade in our European carbon factory.
